The way I post to social media platforms is generally a photo, article link, or resource plus a very short intro sentence like 'good though long read', 'interesting article', 'great information', etc. I've been reading Austin Kleon's latest newsletter tonight and one particularly poignant article was about the reasons he keeps blogging after 15 years of doing so. "He says that he didn't start a blog because he had something to say, but he started it to FIND something to say." That message has hit me like a ton of bricks. So, I'm thinking of changing the way I do this blog by writing more about my posts and seeing where that goes. Regardless of what level of visitation this blog gets, I'd like it grow in relevance, engagement, and enjoyment. The first step is to write more.
