I've been working on a piece that incoporates leaves as the base for a couple of faces. Interestingly, the positioning of the leaves has provided the 'right' sense of light and shadow. The leaves have been sewn over with black thread to outline the face, and then parts have been painted to reveal more features. This photo shows one of the faces up close. The paints used were acrylics.
Since late March, I've been planning an international solo trip that included meeting up with friends.
