I recently finished about five dozen holiday ornaments. This makes 5-8 years that I've made a batch each year. They are so fun to make and watch as they come together considering all the different elements and colors used.
This year's batch made use of new Indian hand-made papers for backgrounds. Supply chain issues were evident when shopping for supplies, because not as many choices were available compared with pre-pandemic offerings.
In any case, I love them! Which one is your favorite?
This basket was made in Jane Hall's half-day course at IQF 2014. The greatest amount of time involved in making it--was cutting and sewing the strips together. Otherwise, it went together easily and quickly (3 hours). These baskets are a great holiday gifting idea that you can match to family and friends' home decoration color schemes. They're fun and useful besides.
